Setting off from La Mongie, in 15 minutes the cable-car takes you to the highest museum in Europe.

Also at the summit: a unique panaorama of the Pyrenees range! The scenery at the Pic du Midi is so wonderful that it has been classified as a national nature site since 2003.

GREAT DOWNHILL RIDES 

The slopes of the Pic di Midi are now freely accessible to thrill-seekers!
In winter, for skiing downhill, think of the Grand Tourmalet pass: 1 access to the slopes + 1 access to the Pic du Midi's cable-car.
Two cable-cars, during the summer, are reserved for mountain bikers for an almost 11-km downhill ride.
Caution: this open-air area is not invigilated, specially-adapted or signposted.
We recommend that you be accompanied by a guide.
